I Cry the Day I take the Christmas Tree Down

What a wonderful Christmas season we had. It was busy as usual but the truth is that I wouldn't have it any other way.
We made it into the city on Saturday to do a little shopping, check out the windows and admire the huge ginger bread castle (you can see it in the background).
We even made it over to see the temple lights at the Oakland Temple. The picture does not do them justice.
The boys opening presents from Monka, Grandma and their Aunts.
Christmas Eve!!! Beck with my Cousin Zac and his daughter Shae. Cortney, Dylan, Corbin and Blake posing in the middle of the Candy Bar game. Grandma and Beck.
Santa Came! Corbin had a super hero Christmas and Beck was completely unphased.

We headed off to San Diego to enjoy yet a 3rd Christmas celebration with the Wilson crew. Corbin loves his race track and Beck will get lots of use from the swing. Nat and Jer love the clock, it looks great over the fireplace.
This Christmas was a special one for me. I was asked to play Mary at church and spent hours reading about her and working on a script. Jer and I also wrote the ward's narrative for our Christmas party. It was a lot of work, but a wonderful treat to have a reason to focus, read, and ponder so much about the saviors birth and the true gift of the season. How grateful I was to have a celebration that involved much more than Santa Clause.

We are looking forward to a wonderful New Year and hope the same for all our friends and family.
